Bronx medical students to receive free tuition after $1bn donation

A billion dollar gift will make medical education tuition free for more than 700 students at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York City, a highly rated medical school in a poor area. The gift is intended to attract talented and diverse students who might otherwise not be able to become doctors.1
